FirstNet's mission is to deploy a nationwide wireless broadband network for fire, EMS, law enforcement, and other public safety agencies. Once built, the FirstNet network will provide fire service personnel and other public safety agencies with access to all of today’s (and tomorrow’s) technology, such as applications, smartphones, tablets, etc., over a network that is reliable, secure, and available on a priority basis so that you can access the network when you need it. The FirstNet network will be available to first responders in the 56 states and territories, and tribal reservations.
