On this International Firefighters’ Day (IFFD), the FirstNet team would like to extend its appreciation to the men and women throughout the fire service who risk their lives each day to protect lives and property in their communities.  The deployment of a nationwide public safety broadband network will benefit the safety and security of our nation’s firefighters and the people they serve in the 56 states and territories. On this day, FirstNet is pleased to spotlight the work of the Puerto Rico Firefighters Corps (Cuerpo de Bomberos de Puerto Rico).
