FirstNet has released a number of documents through its newly deployed Reading Room.  It contains documents and data files which may provide users an increased understanding of FirstNet and its objectives. These files are publicly available to any interested party and are for informational purposes only.

The Reading Room contains files from both the FirstNet Consultation process to date and technical research conducted by FirstNet in cooperation with the Public Safety Communications Research (PSCR) program and the FirstNet Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC). The Reading Room files are divided into two workspaces:

State Files - The State Files workspace includes the data originally submitted by each state and territory that may be made public.  These datasets include state and territory inputs regarding a phased deployment, incident response data, underlying data layers used to create coverage objectives, and agency survey data.

Technical Files – The Technical Files workspace includes technical white papers developed by FirstNet, technical summaries of FirstNet Early Builder Projects, and technical strategies on a variety of topics regarding the nationwide public safety broadband network (NPSBN).
