FirstNet’s PSAC Adds Two Federal Members to its Ranks

September 19, 2016

By Chief Harlin R. McEwen, Chairman, Public Safety Advisory Committee

The U.S. Department of Justice’s Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection representatives will provide a unique federal perspective to the PSAC

FirstNet’s Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) added two new members to its ranks -- Supervisory Special Agent Michael Gilmore from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Acting Associate Chief Kraig E. Moise from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection (CBP) -- bringing its total to 43. Their membership on the PSAC will further integrate FirstNet’s federal outreach and consultation activities with the PSAC’s work and drive its continued success. In particular, their membership will officially launch activities for the PSAC’s newly formed Federal Working Group (FWG). With Michael serving as Chair and Kraig as Vice Chair of the FWG, the PSAC will ensure that the federal perspective is considered and federal public safety practitioners are informed and contributing to current PSAC work products and future task teams.

Please join me in welcoming them both to the PSAC.
